See the youth speech 2010!
You can have a look at the first draftsecond draftfinal draft, and the finalfinal draft.

Hello everybody,

since the new year has just begun, I hope you left your stress behind in 2009 and can manage a place in your head for some mind work, because we need your help! Once again there is going to be a youth speech for the Review Conference of the Non-Proliferation Treaty in New York – it’s gonna be our 5th!

For the preparations of the speech we need all the ideas you have collected in your head for a world free of nuclear weapons. The brainstorming phase has started. Which are the important points that should be mentioned in the speech? Is there any certain structure important to you? What do you want to tell the high-ranked politicians at the conference?

Please help collecting the ideas and intentions of the youth all over the world. Every little involvement will be appreciated.

This is the process of writing the youth speech:
  1. Collecting ideas, comments, sayings, etc. from around the world. Give your personal view about what should be in the youth speech and how the speech should look like until 7.2.2010. It was done here.
  2. Give your comment on the first draft until 1.3.2010. Is going on here(draft) and here(structure).
  3. Give your comment on the second (and final) draft until 21.3.2010 here.
  4. Final speech will be finished until 5.4.2010 here.
  5. Secound round on final drafting until 17.4.2010 here.
You can see the past speeches at: http://www.bang-europe.org/resources.html#youth and the writing process of the speech 2009 at http://geneva08.wiki.zoho.com which was similar to this one.

The speech will be delivered at the NGO Presentations on 7.5.2010. Before that there will be a speaker's competition held in New York - where and when is to be announced but everybody is invited to join and to apply as a speaker.
